The Sloting Plus pinion Gear Puller & Press has been designed to be precise, intuitive for the user, and to last a lifetime.
It is a compact tool that is extremely tough and provides, in a single tool, the two basic functions - removing pinions and installing/pressing them. It has no complicated or loose parts that could get lost. It is used on a flat surface to avoid having to handle it unsupported, with the lack of precision that would cause.
Its innovative system of a rotating drum with four holes of different sizes makes it precise and easy to handle. The four holes in the drum make it very easy to insert pinions with between 6 and 14 teeth (the usual types for Slot Cars); the fact that it can be used on any flat surface makes it convenient and precise.
The Sloting Plus pinion puller also incorporates an aluminium tool to be used with all FLAT motors.
With the puller on a flat surface, lift up the motor so that it is correctly aligned with the aluminium tool in the puller base; the pinion can now be pressed in precisely.
